After 13 years of friendship and fulfilling careers in the entertainment industry, Dion and Danielle Watson have set out on a mission to empower the youth of Compton, CA: changing the face of a community and making an impact in the lives of others, using their love and passion for the Performing Arts. Discover.YOU™, Inc provides a place where students are loved unconditionally, taught passionately, and guided unapologetically towards their dreams and aspirations.
Discover.YOU™, Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit youth social justice and Performing Arts program set in place to lend a helping hand in developing and readying the minds of our next generation of leaders. Through varying programs centered on self empowerment, we provide the space and resources for our youth to discover who they are as creatives, individuals, and citizens. Programming includes mentorship and academic tutoring; workshops such as college acclimation, basic finance, and healthy relationships; and Performing Arts classes consisting of Dance, Cirque, Choir, Musical Engineering, Voice Recording, Song Writing, Musical Theatre and Acting.
We are focused on uplifting the community through our future leaders; providing a space for them to creatively express and positively develop the telling of their personal stories: one they create, one that allows them an escape into their creative realms, and one that they can share with a community hopeful for a new narrative.

Love
Providing the community a safe haven filled with mentors, artists, and educators who operate solely out of love to inspire our youth, introduce them to a world of endless opportunities, and passionately guide them towards their dreams. We will be love personified.
integrity
Helping our youth lay the foundation for their lives; entering into the world with an undeniable focus, maintaining their high standards, understanding and heeding to their moral values, and unable to be easily beset. Their integrity will transcend into their leadership.
faith
Instilling an unshakeable faith whereby our youth will create positive change in their lives, solidify a powerful future that impacts the lives of others, and leave with a better understanding of who they are, where they are going in life, and more importantly how to get there.
education
Youth are introduced to a cultural worldview and a broader perspective on what impact they want to leave in the world. We educate them on life skills, vigorously prepare them for higher education and entrepreneurship, promote the reduction of the high school dropout and prostitution rates, and guide them through their pursuit of an empowered life.
